Becoming Bold was founded by Melissa Henning-Frank, a life-long learner and empowerment advocate whose experience and qualifications include:

  • United States Active Duty Army Veteran, Honorably Discharged
  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management
  • Organizational Development certificate from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee School of Continuing Education
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator certified facilitator
  • Emotional Intelligence facilitator
  • Certified Change Management Professional through the Association of Talent Development
  • 15 years of Human Resources experience, with 10 of those years specializing in Career, Talent & Leadership Development

The Story Behind Becoming Bold

With a background in Human Resources, Talent Development, and Manufacturing, Melissa spent decades inside the systems that shape team dynamics, leadership effectiveness, and workplace culture—especially in high-pressure, fast-moving industries.

Now, as the founder, life coach & leadership/team workshop facilitator of Becoming Bold, LLC in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, she helps individuals and organizations confront the real issues holding them back—so they can lead with clarity, communicate with confidence, and build cultures that actually work. Melissa is available locally, virtually, and willing to travel anywhere.

One of Becoming Bold‘s core specialties is improving team effectiveness. Through facilitated workshops, we guide teams to get everything out on the table—the unspoken tensions, the frustrating patterns, the misalignments—and work through them openly. We then prioritize the real needs, assign ownership, and set clear deadlines so that every team member has skin in the game.
